...I am as always on board with a lot of what you say, but are you saying pornography is bad? I know you are saying certain evils I agree we find in society are pornographic, but that is using the term metaphorically. Your argument could be taken to imply that depictions which don't meet your standard of naturalness and sensuality are bad.

Art and literature depicting gross, unnatural and brutal sexuality between men and boys exists and I think it should be defended. For one thing, one person's gross, unnatural and brutal is another person's secret fantasy. For another, there is no more connection between enjoying drawings or stories depicting such conduct and the actual conduct itself than there is between viewing and enjoying violence in films and video games (as many people do, whether you do or not) and acts of actual violence.

Of course BLs want to stress that actual sexuality between men and boys can be positive. But I think if we take the next step of condemning artistic expression of any kind (including bad art, since obviously most good artists don't start good) based on whether we would approve of the behaviors depicted in real life, then we are basically giving up on freedom of expression in advance. Freedom to express only niceness is no freedom at all!

Sorry to rant, probably you didn't mean to dump on kinky porn at all, but I just wanted to exclude from your condemnation of real life behaviors that are gross, unnatural and brutal, like those you discussed, the expression of thoughts and fantasies, which deserve the kind of radically extreme protection we associate with the notion of First Amendment Freedom of Expression.
