I only watched the one video, but I think I caught the essence of the news blurb.
in the longer range sense, I think that Obama may be partly to blame for the coal industry's 'rebirth'. 'wha, wha, what?' well since you asked, when he was promoting the emergence and growth of the wind and sun energy programs, he probably put incentives out there for the new companies with their new technology and new jobs directly into coal country. maybe then the voters who voted for Trump over the loss of their jobs would have been happily busy working at their new jobs and not wanting another change in the status quo. I believe that this little bit of strategy would have worked.
