Okay, well that's a step in the right direction. I admit that I haven't read any of this gentleman's work, but I did see the film adaptation of SPECIAL FRIENDSHIPS and, while I found it to be terribly depressing and bleak, I thought it was decently made and the youngster in it made me smile with his almost sinister, romantic verve. It was a disturbing experience, watching it, but it was also certainly eye-opening.
