I was not following closely your story with this boy.

I am sorry that the fall out happened and I am sure he will realize later on (maybe he is just cement headed and won't realize it) that you were helping him and wanted the best for him.

It is really sad when parents are just clueless and are upset when others want to help feeling that it is meddling by others. With such parents he has a difficult time ahead.
