I don't think so.

I imagine pedophilia has been around since the dawn of man, and will probably continue until the dusk of man too. And speaking as a young CL, when I 'came out' as a child (around 14 I suppose) to my friends in the form of "hey in this show I think this character (a child) and this character (an adult or another child) are so cute together, look at this picture I drew of them/this fanfiction I wrote about them!" they all kind of just accepted it. Then we all grew up but the ages of my favourite characters never did. In the social groups I was a part of, things like that were considered normal. We all watched b*** no p***, all our crushes were on characters who were from 10-15 years old... so it was never really odd. But even though they know those things about me, and I can talk to them about those fictional scenarios, I still have to come here to BC to explicitly talk about BL.
