The US Supreme Court continues to base it's decisions off of the " predetermined and biased opinion" that sex offenders have a high recidivism rate (which every study has refuted). (ref)https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2017/03/09/the-big-lie-about-sex-offenders/?utm_term=.665adca3611e

Apparently, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy got his statistics of a 80 percent recidivism rate out of Better Homes and Gardens or some other equally reputable scientific journal.

My point is that people use biased studies all the time and with a great deal of success.... Just ask any Drug company rep. for the studies on their medication (studies which the company payed for) to see just how great their meds are (even if the kill half the people who take them)... the study still says it great. Or the tobacco company studies that cigs don't cause cancer etc... biased studies are a very effective marketing tool.

I know your counter argument will be that we are better then that yada, yada, yada but we need to use every tool in our tool kit and our propaganda has to be equally as compelling as theirs and if it is a bit biased ...so fucking what?
