What an exciting opportunity! Color bleeding is basically when a color escapes the shape or boundry that you are detailing. The color doesn't stay confined, rather, it appears on other colors or shapes, but doesn't represent or fill those that they land on. A lot of people can't stand the way it looks because it is sloppy and often draws attention to itself, but I've always loved the technique. It reflects the way I think a lot more accurately. I have an image in my mind, but remnents of other things still linger in small fragments. It's like they spin out of control and I can't stop it. |
