German Music calling for violence...

Well, Bach wrote music that sorta hints at violence against the Jews (St. John Passion); Wagner fulminated against the French in the last act of Meistersinger, and Schubert wrote a whole song cycle that culminates in violence against oneself (Die Winterreise).

Woody Allen once said that if he listens to too much Wagner he gets the itch to invade Poland.

I guess you have to be careful how you load your iPod these days (What? No mixed choirs? All your choral music is sung by BOYS? You are a SOUNDTRACK CRIMINAL!!!)
