Fantastic!

The three actors who play Chiron are terrific. Alex Hibbert -Chiron at 10, and his friend Kevin, (at 10), Jaden Piner are cute as can be, and if you a TBL, the 15 y/o Chiron and Kevin, (Ashton Sanders and Jharrel Jerome), are both drop-dead gorgeous. Its a groundbreaking film about growing up gay and Black in the drug-infested 'hood of Miami during the 80's and 90's. Dunno who the cinematographer was, but the film is beautifully shot....and the many nighttime scenes drive home the flick's title. The name comes from the unproduced play director Alvin McRaney wrote a decade ago,and that was taken from a line in a Maya Angelou poem. In moonlight Black boys look blue... He's a killer and a gunman and he'll make you bleed, shoot'cha in the back or in your sleep.... got no name or identity,..... livin' like the wind he's free!
