That should be a great working target to support. If you noticed how that Comet Ping Pong pizzeria, which features so centrally in the attempted suppressed revelations, used the BL symbol in its logo (and then changed it following media exposure), there is reason to think that people with connection to the BL community, even to BoyChat, are too close for comfort, if not even involved, in the trafficking of youngsters. I'm not going to put on a mock display of shock and revulsion. I am a realist. Nevertheless, VIRPED and others who care deeply about the well-being of boys, should, if they can, be alert and if they can, assist in effecting community hygiene (i.e. trying to "clean up" what needs cleaning up). For a period in the mid 90s when I was operating a small ftp site with boy porn (I've written publicly about this on several occasions) I also hung out on an IRC chat channel called #boysex, which was very secretive. Not much happened there. People mostly spoke in private. But once in a while there came on an online personality known as Phiteur. He was very open about his activities in Bangkok where he lived and would give graphic recounts of how he would pick up boys in the streets, take them to his hotel room and rape them. And he would relish in elaborating on the violence, the forceful and ruthless penetration, the rectal bleeding, and on their screaming. Of course I was sick to my stomach. But what could I do? It taught me something about the morbid minds in the world (irrelevant of whether he was telling the truth or was making up simply to harass any actual boylovers in that chat room). Reiterating my main point: we should be realistic, and we should do whatever we can to make the world better, in our case, make it better for boys in particular!
