Yes, unfortunately they do have hate speech laws here. Political correctness is completely out of control. You can even be prosecuted for offending someone here under "offensive language" laws. There was a case some time ago where some macaca taxi driver snitched on an off duty police officer who had had a bit much to drink and was telling him to fuck off go back to his country etc.

Because I defend free speech I therefore have to defend Leighton Smith's right to say whatever the fuck he wants, BUT it's certainly not what I would regard a very WISE idea, given that radio hosts have no protection and there are a LOT more MAPs out there than many people would realize. There only needs to be ONE person to regard such malevolent comments as requiring lethal reprisal. But yes, the dog shit idea (and Nappy's ham one) are good ways of just sending a hint.
