I agree to a degree, but a certain amount of incest will not be of detriment, provided from time to time new blood from outside of the family is introduced. Also, having to be largely confined to incest is still much more preferable than the degeneracy of opposite extremes such as miscegenation. I'd rather see my race go completely extinct than do that.
