International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which safeguards my rights to physical integrity, liberty and security of person, procedural fairness and rights of the accused, and individual liberties. I can go to North Korea and walk right up to Kim Jong Un and take a shit on him, and then whip out my copy of that Covenant and say, "Haha, bitch, you can't do anything to me, because I've got international law on my side. Submit!" And he will slowly back away with a "don't hurt me" look, the palms of his hands facing me in a gesture of surrender as his entourage looks on.
