Blew my mind this morning

Posted by MWM on 2017-February-23 12:16:38, Thursday

I was watching the news on TV this morning and saw an old favourite of mine Jakie Evancho speaking out in support of trans-gendered people.

So lets go back a few years...

Jakie had just won a talent show with her superb operatic voice.

So I started to follow her a bit on-line and listen to her sing...

Then I discovered her brother Jacob. Not as quite talented a singer as Jakie but still very pleasant to listen to and not bad on the eyes either.

Jakie and Jacob sing a duet (Let it be)

and

'I see the light' again with Jakie and brother Jacob.
Now his voice has changed and he is a lot more masculine. Still a very handsome boy/young man

So time passes and I loose touch with her singing... perhaps I just got side tracked with other singers.

Today I revisited her name on the 'tube' and confirmed what I had seen on TV:

A note to Juliet if she is ever to see this post for whatever reason:

Each and every human being is born and grows up differently.
Each of us has our own cross to bear and for some like us who are paedophiles, it is not always an easy life.
I know the same is true of trans-gendered people. Just as you know you are a woman inside, even when you were a boy on the outside, we also know usually from an early age that we are different.
There is nothing that can be done about those feelings other than to accept them and live with them as best as one can.
These feelings do not go away and are a part of who we are as people, like it or not.

Trans-gendered people still have a huge battle ahead of them for acceptance as do we.
Society in general is VERY afraid of anything or anyone who is different.

I loved watching you and listening to you singing with your sister on you-tube, (as a boy) and now I watch you grow into a beautiful woman.

Please know there are many people in this world who DO understand AND accept you as you are.

Goodbye Jacob and hello Juliet. Welcome to the world, you are a very beautiful young woman. I wish you well and much happiness in your new life.
