I know I'm not supposed to make posts of this type, but I couldn't resist. Bull's eye. My one quibble would be the "taming of radical feminism" by capitalism. I am not sure that capitalism has "tamed" feminism -- it has certainly been co-opted and "objectively" speaking as the Marxists say, feminism has become an essential prop of the managerial capitalism/late capitalism of our time. But I wonder if any other outcome was possible -- maybe I am being too harsh. SR |
