...Social studies is heavily propagandist...Though I'm sure many will argue, it is everywhere.

Social studies...

In religious schools, you get a skewing towards religious people...and a religious skewing of their stories [so long as the church liked them].

Basically...all the famous U.S. presidents were "men of god", who could preach a biblical sermon spontaneously...George Washington was almost a divine prophet.

Yes...I'm hamming that up a bit...But ACE schools had a peculiar way of monopolizing the lives of famous, historical figures...and making you think if they were alive today, they'd want you to be doing all this religious stuff, more than anything else.

I don't doubt what you say about public school social studies...But where I come from, it would have been refreshing, to have had at least one subject that was totally secular.

Believe it or not...they snuck in bible verses and such, even in math.

I will agree with you, and I've acknowledged this in the past...

...I consider the math and reading skills I gained from them, to be very competent and useful...I also gained the ability to type, from one of these schools...which led to my long history here.

...Oh, the scandal! :-)

With love...
