well, we do have the puzzle room where the old ladies work on their jig-saw puzzles.
they have bible study on Thursday afternoon.
there is a piano that has a thick layer of dust on it, but it is in tune as far as I can tell, as I don't play.
there is also a hair-stylist's chair and a visiting stylist comes once a month.
but tucked in the corner and all folded up, is a card table. and there is a few oldsters that play rummy, uno, or canasta.
if you have a crazy bent, you can sit in the t.v. room and watch the games on big screen t.v.

there are a few that make use of the big, ornamental, tournament-sized billiard table, where it is rumored that people make bets on.

or, you could sit in on the high-stakes poker games that happen at the first of the month, after everyone has paid their bills. but you have to be in the loop of the people who are trusted, as they don't allow everyone to play. also, the games tend to be unscheduled and happen just whenever everyone is ready.

me, myself, I busy myself with my gardening and with dog training and correcting behavior. I am looking forward to spring. I have some daffydills and twolips that are going to see their first blooming (I hope) in our back yard.
oh, I forgot. I like to cook, and sometimes I fix a meal for my fellow retirees. not everyone of us have enough money to last out the month.
you might be surprised at how many of these oldsters have children who will take advantage of their parents. it is so sad.
