that your mom is still alive. that is nice. I am alone now, but I don't feel the loneliness as much anymore. I live in an apartment building that only allows people 63 or older. Visiting nurses are here every day. a podiatrist comes every 45 days or so. We play bingo occasionally. We are allowed ''comfort'' animals. I have a dog who keeps me busy. If you have a handicap, you can get someone to come to your apartment once a week to clean or whatever. obviously, we have Boy Chat, which I find very therapeutic. and I have some people who I correspond with via email. being lonely is actually a choice, I think. so don't worry so much about the future, things seem to work out. |
