I'm happy for you if you haven't met any CL having committed suicide. This is a very sad thing when you hear from the suicide of someone you've come to know and like over the months and years, and yet when he leaves you realize you have nothing but the memories of your discussions, and you're left with a ghost with no face, no real name, no place, no grave, no farewell ceremony, and you can't talk to anybody about him either. This has been be way more devastating to me than I would have ever imagined, especially regarding a CL who was still very young and who, as I've realized afterwards, I considered a bit like a younger brother. May he rest in peace... Anyway, I guess many CLs just choose to disappear without notifying anyone. Birds hide for dying, as a poet once said. |
