Very well said. I thought about 'dorito's post and your post together, and I figured out what didn't sit well with me about his post. I think the "pout with a bang" method is ironically, the childish way out. And then on the other end, your post was the mature method. Sometimes I feel very immature and childish, especially when I was younger (unemployed, unmedicated, alone ect), and I might have felt the same way dorito does back then. But now I can see that it doesn't have to end like that. Maybe, just being nice, making friends, letting people understand that you're a person and not the boogeyman by their own firsthand experience. |
