I have never been 'North of the border' (at least not to that country) I have never had need or desire for that. My thinking is based mainly on logic and at times 'anti-logic' just to spice things up. I am well traveled and I have lived in several countries (as you know) and have a fairly broad view (often 'tainted' from personal observance) of things in some of them. Sadly I have seen the aftermath of street kids gunned down for the 'crime' of being 'street kids' in central/south American countries. I have witnessed kids dying in the streets and no one (myself included) allowed to help them as they were 'outcasts' (untouchables) in India. I have seen kids having to sleep in sewage drains just to keep warm in some Eastern European countries. I have seen the effects of (PEOPLE abusing) drugs, on families... kids going without shoes or even food because of it. (A large cause of kids running to the streets in the first place) I, like so many others, read almost daily of drug (USER/DEALER) related robberies or killings. Quite honestly I am sick and tired, of being sick and tired, of all the drug dealers AND addicts... one of the main causes of crime, and particularly violent crime, all over the world. It is not the drugs but the drug DEALERS and ADDICTS that is the problem. Time to stop the blame shifting and face facts. Treat the ADDICTS, kill the DEALERS and COPS found to be corrupt should join the DEALERS on the lineup in front of the wall. May want to add anyone who is identified as and proved to be any sort of gang member as well. Perhaps automated gunfire daily at a specific time would do fine... no one in their right mind wants to pull the rigger on another human being. Also I do not believe from what I read and see online and TV that there is such a thing as NORMAL THINKING by anyone 'North of the boarder' it all seems to be VERY polarized, either extreme left or right. There SEEMS to be NO logical middle road, a truly divided nation... from an 'outsiders' point of view. Sad really. |
