it is much more,

soldiers are citizens.

and their job is to protect their own families and neighbors. in other words, their country.

most often, soldiers protect the rich's interests. but the larger picture shows us that if the rich's interests are not protected, the peons suffer.

I think my mind has wandered off again, oh my.
