Hello Lysander :)

I don't want to say one way or the other if that would be good for the world or bad for the world. Only that I think you're either looking way, way, way in the future or you're being really optimistic!

My thinking is, if we look at the last 50 years of gay rights and acceptance, the pattern should be the same. In that gay people started out as being reviled by the 'normal' population, classified as having a mental illness, beat up, run out of town, straight up murdered ect. Then they got a few breaks, and a few more, and now it's not life-ending to come out as gay! And that's great but, the people who realise:

"Wow, I get turned on by viewing this. I guess I have pedophilic desires too."

Are the people that turn even harder on pedophiles.
Me remembers in American news there's always some anti-gay legislator who votes to take away gay people's rights and then get caught in a bathroom stall with Angelo. The link below is an article titled "16 Anti-Gay Activists who were Caught Being Gay"

I just can't see the series of events you describe working out the way you say... I'm sorry, I guess I'm being kind of a downer.

Also before they legalise actual KP... it would make sense to decriminalise art first. So many 'First World' countries punish possession of drawings depicting CL as harshly as pictures of real crimes. It's all so backwards. In Australia you can't even own a love doll that's short!
