| I know exactly what BLues is talking about. I would say that you certainly must know as well, but actually I think it is possible you might not. So when you say, "mind tellin' me what you're on about?" you had better be careful. One way of reading that is that you are giving him, as the saying goes, permission to speak freely. That permission, once granted, could make things rather uncomfortable for you and you might come to regret it later. So unless you are sure you know what he is talking about and sure you want to let him say it explicitly, I'd back off this. |
