... who wouldn't, for any amount of money, have all their friends (who know who they are even when the names aren't published) envisioning that they surrendered control of their genitalia to a groping creep and then shut up about it and let it happen to other boys for years.

This isn't yet a world where venality has completely trumped honor. To imagine that it is, is to become lost in conspiracy theory.
