It is possible too that they leave out important information about the trial. There was a case concerning a child modeling webiste called webeweb. It featured photos of underage girls in non-nude clothing. A few of the girls came forward to say that they had been abused and were forced to dress in things that made them uncomfortable. All that got reported in the media. What wasn't reported in any of the stories, however, is that there were multiple girls who defended the person charged, saying that the other girls were lying. There was money involved too, the accusers and their parents got paid hefty sums in compensation. I don't know about this case. It is much more popular so it would be more difficult I would think to hide or not report facts like that... but you never know. Are there cameras in the courtroom? If Sandusky is innocent or if this is a plot by a handful of greedy bastards looking for money, then surely there must be someone, at least one of his students, who would come forward to defend him. At least I would think. |
