It doesn't matter what was actually said; as Parsifal noted, he sees what he wants to see. So arguing with him is pointless because he's incapable of seeing positions that contradict his own; he's firmly stuck in his own deluded paradigm. As a natural consequence of this, his arguments are rife with straw-men, and when the person he's arguing with realizes how pointless it is to argue with this maniac, martirwithacause sees that as a sign of his own victory.
