What happens then?

I told someone (a semi-admin) in a chat room once (long ago) that another poster (a 14-year-old) had hinted that he was going to commit suicide.

The guy did something, they checked something, and the message I finally got was that they found that the kid had thrown himself down the stairs in his wheelchair, and was in critical condition but expected to live.

Strange things happen on the Internet...

The (alleged) older brother of the boy thanked me on-line for saving the kids life.
