I wonder if the same may be true as well with other professions? How many minutes did you spend actually face-to-face with the doctor the last time you consulted one? If I remember correctly, the average is around six minutes... How many hours and hours did the psychologists spend in observation of the dynamics of the relationships of this family? And in what circumstances? Very few, I would bet. Very very few.
