Why does he need to know it in order to treat you?

Are you seeing him because you are BL? Because even if all works out well and he doesn't report you... other then possibly helping you deal with being BL emotionally, he can't change the fact that you ARE BL. You are what you are.

Any psychiatrist that knows anything about "treating" pedophiles will tell you that ONLY group therapy is helpful. Are you sure you want that? Because group "therapy" operates in a group... and it does not matter how much they preach about confidentiality... someone is likely to talk about you outside of the group.

If nothing else... think longer and harder about what you are considering. Being outed as a pedophile is NO joke.

I ask again... what is it that makes you think that he has to know about your sexual orientation in order to treat you? What are needing help with?

Perhaps we can help...? we DO have a fair track record with such things and it's worth a try before you jump into the unknown blue yonder!
