"A paraphilia is defined as any powerful and persistent sexual interest other than sexual interest in copulatory or precopulatory behavior with phenotypically normal, consenting adult human partners".

A foot fetish? A strong interest in Klinefelter's Syndrome (XXY) males (this has been documented)? A love of harmless light spanking games? You are ruling a whole lot of people out of the box of 'normal' sexuality if you look at things like this. Not that 'normal' matters, but... No harm, no foul, as they say. These people are in it for the money. They have a vested interest in pathologising as many things as they can.

I hate "copulatory or precopulatory behavior" as well, as though something like, say, mutual masturbation were only a prelude to intercourse, not the real deal, instead of some people's preferred kind of sex; as though intercourse were the be-all and end-all.
