First, I'm not talking about eternal damnation when I said "robbing him of his masculine soul". I mean, whether you agree or not, it appears to me there is a fundamental difference in the way a male person relates to the world and the way a female person relates to it. Although a prepubescent boy has more in common esthetically, emotionally, and other ways with females then he does with men. Boys as we all know turn into men, and gain a different relationship with the universe. The male's reproductive purpose in life is to produce semen and inseminate a female. Its an assertive, active role. That model plays into how males relate to the universe in general, as an active assertive force in the world. The female role is of receiving the male's seed, and is an inertially passive role that embraces what the world has to offer them, its not role engaged in generating and creating a new force in the world, but choosing to or not to receive something. Those sexual roles form the basis of the male and female roles in all societies, and determine what it means to be a father or a mother. When a young boy, whose masculinity, their identity as a male is very supple and tender (like the rest of them) any sexual experiences a boy has, especially as a prepubescent, will undeniably form their role in the universe as they become a man. If a boy is put into the most feminine, passive position possible, a grown man penetrating them, having intercourse with them, and 'inseminating' them with their seed, it radically shifts their perspective on sexuality and their role as a male in the world. In my opinion there is no way that anal intercourse between a man and a passive boy could not destroy the sense of masculinity and the sense of a "masculine soul" that every male is born with. Which I think is a tragedy to do under any circumstances. Its hard to go out into the world and assert yourself as a man when you've been fucked like a pretty girl as a young boy. Second, I think you misunderstood me. I do not mean appreciate everything in a person's culture, neither do I mean making a critical judgment about a person based on their race. I mean intrinsically appreciating that the world is filled with huge variety and multiple forms of life and culture. The way people enjoy traveling to different continents and seeing the same kinds of flora and fauna and ecosystems, but with endless variations from each other. The way african elefants and indian elefants are distinct. The way a place smells, the formation of the mountains, the 'feel' of the environment that is essentially the same as another place on earth but it has its own unique distinctions that make it special. People are the same way, and people of have ethnicities, races, languages and cultures that are distinct from one another, and that makes the world incredible. |
