I couldn't have said those words myself without having been called a liar... Cogs are usually very senior members here, who know better what is the relationship between what happens here, and the ourside world. People come here, take stuff, and distort it elsewhere, making us look bad. Cogs err on the conservative side, which is the safest and correct thing to do (though, technically, not "correct", and bothersome at times.) I answered a question that has been posted by others a number of times. I had a feeling that it *might* be crossing the invisible line - but, the line, being invisible, is kind of hard to see, you know. The Cogs saw it a little to the left of where I saw it, and cogged my post. I'm OK with that. It is really not my error, or theirs - we are supposed to be living in modern civilized countries, where opinions are freely allowed to be expressed. Unfortunately, that is a myth. Self censorship, they say, is the most invidious kind... and, may I add, anathema to a true democracy. Fucked up world, no? We better get busy fixing it... [SIGH] |
