Even though things are really crazy right now just calm and chill out for a while. I guarantee that time will ease the anxiety. A key factor is to get a lawyer that will spend some time on your case. I had a public defender to defend me with a DUI several years ago and although he was very good he was completely swamped and inaccessible. He did get me off with some fancy footwork at the last minute but it would have certainly been nice to have him there in the months leading up to the final hearing.

Suicide, deifinetly do not do it. Wait to see how everything goes down. If your life is shit after two years then you can reconsider but I’ll bet you a lot that things will be ok by then.

The doctor probably gave you valium because it is almost impossible to kill yourself with just valium, UNLESS and I say UNLESS it is mixed with alcohol. I speak from experience because my sister in law attempted suicide with valium and booze just about 3 weeks ago. She was in a coma, for a while we didn’t think she would be coming out of it. She was on a ventilator, they tried taking her off and could not breathe on her own. Lungs filled with fluid, pneumonia, and blood clots. She’s out of the hospital now but with lots of problems and may have had brain damage.

Hang in there it will get better.
