They really are out to get you.

You might have picked up on some subtle hints as to which way I lean, despite the equal consideration I gave both points of view. But where I stand isn't the important part, I just wanted to make sure that anyone who actually does decide to trust this "Amicus" character realizes that he doesn't have the right to trust him on anyone else's behalf.

BTW, if they asked for our SSN I'd assume they were trying to steal our money or take out credit cards in our names rather than trying to out us.
