the police just turned up at our house and told us that my friend had been "detained for questioning" on charges related to interfering with a minor. then they wanted to talk to me about my friend. i dont know how they found out. sometimes i think maybe i did or said something wrong. it kills me that i dont know.

and your other question. i've known my friend all my life. he is kind of like my uncle but not related.
