Just participating in BC and talking to people like you is rewarding. Like you say, we don't have to agree on everything and so often it's in examining our differences of opinion where we evolve our own opinions and build shared understandings within communities. In our present "drastic disagreement" you differentiate yourself saying AND i KNEW i loved dudes, implying that the one with "backwards thinking" does not know, assuming that since he doesn't choose to share stories about teaching boys and girls to ride bikes here then he doesn't do it irl. Choosing not to focus much on broad systemic issues in favor of focusing on one's own family, neighborhood and community is a choice. Maybe you have heard the story about when his friends asked him if they should pay taxes to the evil Roman authorities, Jesus asked for a coin and then pointed to Caesar's face and said, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's. Jesus wasn't saying that he agreed with the government, no! He certainly did not agree with the evil Roman authorities, but also we have to pick our battles. Jesus was pushing back on the Jewish idea that God was going to make them win battles and take over the world.

That's not how Christians operate, which really sticks in the craw of authority oriented people like the guy you are responding to above. That's why he keeps on spamming his opinion. He's not alone in wanting to unmask BC posters in the name of "protecting us." It's not worth going into again, but interested readers can follow the links to unpack monkey's sealioning dance moves. The reason they call it sealioning is due to the fact that no matter what people bring to the table to talk about, a sealion always tries to disrupt those conversations by baiting people into rehashing previous conversations over and over again. Linking to previous instances of his trolling allows those who wish to focus on the past to do that, meanwhile those of us who want to focus on the here and now have to kick the yapping dog off of our pant leg and close the door, ignoring his attempts to distract us as much as it's possible to do here on BC.

But as for those of us who "teach bike riding" in our own family and community, BC is a terrible choice of place to tell those types of stories, due to the negativity and trolling such posts would likely inspire and due to the likelihood that any positive encouraging posts might be coming from #DOSSIER builders looking to dox us. Those who invest the time to read over the MBC old post will start to recognize patterns, such as when this guy tellsitasitis, who said In the past, you worthy cogs in your wisdom actually banned me for so called nick-linking. What I actually did was to expose one of the most dangerous trolls and antis ever seen on BC, someone who outed two posters and destroyed their lives. Do you really think there aren't still people like that monitoring BC? In such a dangerous environment with treacherous villains ready to pounce, it's no wonder a lot of people don't even want a BC nickname and don't dare say anything here out of caution that certain words or phrases they use could be used to unmask them, potentially even to other sites such as reddit or facebook, but that doesn't mean they can't participate in group chats with their trusted friends and sometimes even discuss or vote on BC discussions behind the scenes. You can't blame them!
