Do you think it would be possible or even a "good idea", for me to post my art (say as multiple sig pics) where genitals are turned into faces??
You might assume that that is just plain 'crazy' to even DARE Step Up in this way, but once, about 30 years back, i went thru u.s. customs (back in my much more naive days) via just such a tact.
Even openly told the customs officer about it when he had gone thru my stuff and asked if there was anything i [needed?] to share. And i said 'Yes, as a matter of fact.' And i gave him a copy of a Dutch BL photo mag!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
So anyway, the u.s. customs official took it to a back room and soon returned, returning the full-color magazine to me and patting me on the back, chuckling as he let me through.
i had just 'culture jammed' The System!
(Sure, they could prosecute now but they could do that for so much of my other art and poetry and what they make up with impunity. And i see being "spiritually nude" as a way to convey my truth to some of those whom you all have not been able to reach.)
Not saying that my way's better, and i certainly don't mean to offend anyone (except spooks and the strategically-challenged)!
So, you might ask, at what point do dared actions become "crazy" and "beyond the bounds" of the "possible" to share publicly? Or even alleged "Rational" in any sense?? (Well, it seems to me it's all in how we've been socialized, and what level our "Lack of Nerve" is stuck at!)
(And how is that reductionist method used against you by those who study us?)

Imagine, the GENITALS of young dudes in a perfectly legal magazine (in The NL) had been ERASED and replaced with FUNNY FACES!!!! !

(Say, Why not have a tribute to them on BC or a wiki somewhere? Say, a whole "wall" of photos of those murdered by fascists (solo or in groups) and a summary of their stories? Another way to try to reach thru the steadily building war vibe! And !) Don't you agree?

Beyond so much Fear!! (i've lived a life that has dealt with fear 24/7, beyond the corrals of your Normal; i.e. ever try living in Grizzly Bear country, solo? Like, not in a cabin, but in a tent! Where it's SO QUIET that the SOUND OF YOUR STOMACH GROWLING CAN SOUND LIKE A bear!!)
So now you got MORE info about me.
i figure sharing some of these things about my life might be able to help those struggling in different ways!! Even if "all" you get is a good guffaw! (i did my spirituaL woRk!)
(for folks who are homeless and don't act like total asses, i'll share if you need basic knowledge for survival and staying warm, etc.!)
Oh, and also i've been attracted to "ugly" dudes. Just for the record. i fell in love with him when he was 14. And still love him now that he's in his 50s!!
Thinking about sharing some memories of my legal-oriented friend ships with some of the dudes i knew 'back in the day', to also possibly try to get THAT VIBE rolling along like some would like to see (feeling that sharing such helps humanize us, okiedokie!)
