If a certain poster or posters fails to post anything of value and continually displays contempt and malice towards this board and its users and repeatedly gives destructive advice that, if taken, would likely ruin the life of the person taking it, a message warning new users about the poster is certainly warranted. Plus, this would allow newcomers to be warned of the nature and antics of such malicious posters without people having to engage with the person in question. One possible downside would be that giving attention to an obvious troll in the form of putting their name at the top of the page would just encourage them and result in them trolling more frequently. Overall, though, I'd probably support this idea. I'd be interested to hear other people's feedback. |
