A read button could just wind up pushing people away, it's another way of seeking attention, and when you don't get it, you feel hurt and go away. Perhaps if it were done, maybe as an option the poster can turn on at the time of posting. That way it's up to them. Psyco p.s. Although I still think it should be on boy write :)
