I know they practice some censorship because they are still bound by US law. I've also heard they practice a bit more censorship in order to comply with Firefox standards or something. Their add-on still got thrown out. Now, it's very easy to install it directly from dissenter.org, though. They still haven't been able to connect Dissenter comments with the user's ordinary Gab account thus basically making it not very relevant- I agree that there's too little activity on it for it to be a viable platform. Perhaps things will change. At least the idea has been tried and is now on people's minds. Feel free to contact me on Gab so I can follow your profile.
