How was anyone supposed to know that you posted those two different messages for a reason? Someone coming to the wrong conclusion because of it doesn't sound too strange to me.

Weird about the emails. I sometimes wonder about all the anon snipers around here. Could be some sort of anti tactic. The same goes for the emails you got. Feeding the negativity around here or whatever.

As for offboard communication? It does happen. Especially when you've known people for a while. It's a fair warning, though.
