Some thoughts and a BM.

The boy lover hoped to benefit for a short time from the liberalization of the gay movement. It is not surprising that things turned out differently. Love between two adults has a very different setting than that of love between an adult and a child. Usually a child already has one or two lovers: his parents. In general, this love does not have a sexual dimension, but it does have an emotional and sensual dimension. It is therefore not surprising that parents are suspicious of outsiders who want a close and intimate relationship with their son or daughter. It is a mixture of concern and jalousie. (It is interesting what Spinoza wrote about this. “In the state of nature there is no wickedness or sinfulness. Wickedness and sinfulness are things that we agree with each other as a community or church in order to feel safe. These agreements, which we make ourselves as a society, are functional to maintain some order.) These thoughts came up today when a sweet 5 year old neighbor boy, came to visit me and remembered me I had told him that ice cream was something for sunny days. So while I was making coffee in my kitchen the boy suddenly appeared with his nose flat against the glass kitchen door, a big smile and pointing with his hand towards the sun. He was right, but I didn't have ice cream. "But you promised, when it gets warm". I couldn't deny that and promised I would buy some when I had to go shopping. "Can I come with to help to find the best ice cream". I felt helpless when I looked at his big gleaming eyes, the top of his tongue between his curly lips. "All right, but you have to ask your parents; they have to agree. So he ran away and 2 minutes later he was back, beaming with delight. "My mother thinks it is a great idea as long I am not asking for the biggest one" So we went on my bike to the grocery shop, about a mile from my house. It was a delightful feeling to have a ride with such a small boy at your backseat with his arms and little fingers clamped around you middle. The mile we drove was too short to my taste ;) We found his favorite ice cream. Actually two, because he also has a brother.
