People are comfortable with the simple answer, even when they know that it almost certainly is the wrong answer. If the answer is simple than reaction is simple.

The other thing are activists, who bash on a simple phrase and in fact make a dis-service to the community. The author of "Galileo's middle finger" told stories about that. The trans-gender activists insistence on claiming to be "the opposite gender", pissed people off. They really insists that they are now women or men. There was even a new story about a trans-woman accusing a medical doctor of aggression, when he refused to do a gynecologic examination. What do you expect from average people, when they are bombarded with this shit by the news media.

If you don't want to live like a stereotypical man or woman, that is fine with me. Especially since the biological sex does not matter in everyday life.

If i were a despot, i would allow trans-women and trans-men to compete in their own groups. Let trans-women beat up trans-women, and let women compete with women. Lets give trans-people of every kind their own space.
