its pretty disgusting to use someones post about suicide to go off on one of your usual rants.

This was my response...

Have another glance at the loons on the lake, listen to their call, feel and smell one more time the forest as you hike through a trail. Glance at the unique shape and colour of a single wild flower.

Play a round of golf, or snorkel the warm shore line waters... Roast a marshmallow and offer it to someone

If you do things (as insignificant and small as it may seem), you'll come to appreciate new adventures.

The will to survive is nourished in self challenges, and grows when you're in nature's beautiful diversity. Change the pattern of your day, change what you see on routine basis, dare to live and see something that you haven't seen for a while!

Hope that helps,

This is what this thread said...

Well Steven didn't get many replies writing that his suicide was a foregone conclusion, back in the day people would "support" him with platitudes aplenty, are we becoming hardened of heart? Even cynical?
He could be cold as we speak, stone cold dead. But what does that matter?
Please don't do it Steven! I don't even know your nick, who is he?

and this was my reply...

What can anyone do but to offer ideas, and respond.

offering Humour, understanding, coping mechanisms, a chance to talk and respond.

The status of any North American City right now is just tragic. People in tents, drug use, violence and theft is unlike I've never seen.

It's just too bad that the "health checks" can't be administered to the fascist entities that are causing so much strife.

Empathy, and concern is in at least offering a response that would encourage some feed back.

The state of this culture never the less, in my view is not healthy, and that's what needs to be "spot checked", and investigated. Problem is erroneous and destructive policies don't have an "IP address", just lots of experts and employees.

this thread is a totally different post, with perfectly good observation on the topic. The system/culture is decaying, contributing to these many awful situations that are occurring everywhere.

now, go sit on a tac.
